A 6-pin RJ-11/RJ-12 port, an RJ45 port, and a Coax F-type port on the VDV II allow you to connect and verify copper cables typically found in domestic, commercial, or industrial applications.





The VDV II can subsequently measure the cable's length and display it on the backlit screen. An analog tone generator helps identify signals or cross-connections within the cabling. Wiremap technology determines where there might be damage to the cable with miswires, shorts, or opens. The included remote unit or dual-port remote unit can be embedded into the bottom of the device for easy storage and portability. The VDV II is powered by an included 9V alkaline battery.
